Register NowServe 1st was built by community leaders who believe sports are a vehicle for transformation — discipline, pride, and pathways to success.
Serve 1st Sports Marketing was founded in San Diego, CA by Terrance Tucker, Damian Jackson, and Catherine Bell — three individuals united by a shared belief: that every young athlete, regardless of zip code, income, or background, deserves access to elite training, strong mentorship, and a platform to be seen.
What started as a commitment to free clinics and community mentorship has grown into a multi-layered sports marketing and athlete development organization — activating brands, developing athletes, and creating real pathways to success across SoCal and beyond.
"At Serve 1st, it's always bigger than the game."

Founder & President
[email protected]For more than 24 years, baseball has been far more than a game to me—it has been the foundation for building relationships, serving others, and creating opportunities that extend far beyond the field.
My journey began as a batboy for the San Diego Padres, where I learned firsthand the value of humility, preparation, teamwork, and servant leadership. Those early experiences shaped the way I approach both life and business today. I am a proud graduate of Kearny High School and an alumnus of San Diego State University, and I currently have the privilege of working with the Ontario Towerbuzzers, the Class A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Throughout my career, I have been blessed to work alongside countless players, coaches, front office executives, clubhouse professionals, and community leaders who have poured into my life. Their mentorship has reinforced one belief that continues to guide me every day: baseball has the unique ability to unite people from every background through a shared passion and common purpose.
That belief inspired me to found Strikeout for a Cause, a nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities for underserved families through sports, and Serve 1st Sports Marketing, an organization focused on connecting professional athletes, businesses, and communities to create meaningful impact through service, mentorship, and authentic partnerships.
While these accomplishments are part of my story, they are not what define me. My greatest purpose is bringing people together, creating opportunities for others, and using the game of baseball as a platform to inspire hope, leadership, and stronger communities.
Above all, my greatest responsibility is being the best father I can be. Every opportunity I pursue and every person I serve is done with my children in mind. I want them to see that success is measured not only by achievements, but by character, integrity, humility, and the impact we have on others. My hope is that by leading through service and gratitude, I can leave them a foundation that allows them to become better people than I ever was. If my legacy is that they love more deeply, serve more selflessly, and accomplish more than I did, then I will consider my life's work a success.
None of this would be possible without the incredible people who have believed in me throughout this journey. I am deeply grateful to every player, coach, clubhouse staff member, front office executive, mentor, business partner, volunteer, sponsor, friend, and family member who has invested their time, trust, encouragement, and support. Every opportunity I have received has been the result of someone believing in me, and I never want to take that for granted.
At the end of the day, I don't want to be remembered for the games I worked, the people I met, or the organizations I built. I want to be remembered as someone who loved people well, served without expecting anything in return, and inspired my children to dream bigger, give more, and become even better than I ever could. If they carry that legacy forward while helping others do the same, then I will consider my life's work a success.
"Serve first. Lead with gratitude. Leave every person and every community better than you found them."— Terrance Tucker

We don't accept mediocrity — on the field or off it. Every program, every clinic, every partnership is built to a professional standard.
We move with urgency. Youth don't wait, and neither do we. Our programs create momentum for athletes who are ready to rise.
We exist to serve — not to be served. Every decision, every dollar, every event points back to the mission: elevate youth, empower communities.
We build athletes and people who show up even when it's hard.
The mission matters more than the moment. We lead with service.
We take bold steps because we believe in what we're building.
We represent our community at the highest level — always.
